How we work
Coaching, not a fish store
Nuvoorra sells no fish, plants, equipment or treatments, and takes no commission from anyone who does. Store advice is often shaped by what's in stock; ours isn't.
These are animals, so we're firm on a few things: cycle before stocking, quarantine new fish, keep species in the conditions they need rather than the ones you'd prefer, and never release fish or plants into local waterways. Sick fish belong with a vet who treats them, not with guesswork from a forum.

The questions we get most
Can I add fish right away?
No. A tank needs cycling first, which takes several weeks. Adding fish early is the single most common reason beginners lose them.
Test strips or liquid kit?
Liquid, every time. Strips are too imprecise to diagnose anything, and a liquid kit lasts for years.
Why do I keep getting algae?
Light and nutrients out of balance, nearly always. We identify the type and fix the cause instead of adding chemicals.
Is a betta fine in a small bowl?
No. Bettas need heated, filtered, cycled water like any other tropical fish — a few gallons at minimum.
My fish look sick. What do I treat with?
We don't advise on medication; that's a vet's job. We'll look at your water parameters first, because poor water quality causes or worsens most illness.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contract, no minimum term. Access stays open until the end of the month you already paid for.
